Why should my camera be recalibrated after windscreen replacement?
If your forward-facing ADAS camera looks through the windscreen, we recommend recalibration after replacement. Each glass panel has unique properties, and the camera needs calibrating to the new glass. Reconnecting the camera during fitting is a separate step from completing its calibration.
How do I know whether my vehicle needs ADAS calibration?
Share your vehicle’s make, model and year, and tell us about the windscreen work. We’ll check whether it has a forward-facing ADAS camera looking through the glass and confirm the requirements. Having automatic wipers alone does not establish that this camera system is fitted.
What is the difference between static and dynamic calibration?
Static calibration uses positioned targets with the vehicle stationary in a controlled workshop setup. Dynamic calibration follows a vehicle-specific procedure while the car is driven under suitable conditions. Some vehicles may require both.
