How much does truck windscreen replacement cost?
The price depends on the truck, glass specification, fitting requirements and any applicable ADAS calibration. Share your vehicle details and location for a free quote. We’ll confirm the appropriate glass options and explain the price before you book.
How soon can you replace it, and when can the truck return to work?
The same or next-day appointments may be available, depending on glass stock, workload and job requirements. We’ll confirm timing for your truck, including fitting and any adhesive setting or calibration time. Follow the drive-away instructions given by your technician before returning the vehicle to use.
Will my truck’s windscreen camera need recalibration?
If a forward-facing ADAS camera looks through the windscreen, we recommend recalibration after replacement. Each glass panel has unique properties, so the camera needs to be calibrated to the new glass. We’ll check your truck’s system and confirm the requirements and arrangements before booking; calibration is a separate service.
Can I use insurance for the replacement?
Metro Auto Glass is an insurance-approved repairer. Check your cover, excess and choice of repairer with your insurer, then lodge the claim directly with them. Once approved, we can carry out the work where your insurer and policy permit.
What warranty comes with my truck’s new windscreen?
Our lifetime workmanship guarantee covers installation-related issues, including leaks and rattles caused by our work, which we’ll fix free of charge. It excludes general wear and tear of materials, customer-caused damage and accident damage.
